NARZO 70 Pro 5G: Realme Launches New NARZO Series Smarpthone With ‘Air Gestures’

Today, Realme has launched its most anticipated Realme NARZO 70 Pro 5G in India with ‘Creative Air Gesture’ feature. Realme teased this smartphone for days and few days back confirmed the official launch date to be March 19, 2024. Realme NARZO series is known for providing best feature-packed smartphone at very affrodable or lower price. The NARZO 70 Pro 5G comes with so many features at very much affordable price.

The new Realme NARZO 70 Pro 5G smartphone comes with two options – 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB, both with 8GB dynamic RAM support. Realme NARZO Price in India is Rs 19,999 for 128GB storage variant and Rs 21,999 for 256GB storage variant. But why should you buy it? What extra features does it have? Let’s check.

1. Design: The NARZO 70 Pro 5G has impressive “Horizon Glass Design” that appears similar to the recently launched Realme 12+ and Realme 12 Pro series 5G. It offers two premium-looking colour options – Glass Green and Glass Gold. On the back, it has an “Nano-Scale AG Exquisite Matte Glass” that provides dust and stain resistance. The smartphone has the identical premium-watch design seen in Realme 12+ and 12 Pro series.
2. Camera: We have seen that in the mid-range segment under Rs 25,000, camera is generally okay for using casually and not great. But now, Realme NARZO 70 Pro 5G packs Sony IMX890 OIS camera lens which means photo quality will be excellent. Also, it offers you ability to shoot 4K videos at 30fps and on the front, you can shoot 1080p at 30fps. Don’t worry about the camera optimisation, it offers you tons of post-processing features like Night Mode, Street Mode, High Pixel, Professional Mode, Macro, Super Text and so on. On the front, it comes sith Dual-view video capability using which you can record both video with your rear and front cameras. Let’s talk abuot other cameras. Realme NARZO 70 Pro 5G has an AMOLED 120Hz Ultra Smooth display with 2,000 nits brightness, 2400×1080 resolution (FHD+) and 6.67-inch screen size. The device boasts a 92.65% screen-to-body-ratio. And yes, it does support HDR10+ content.
4. Processor: Performance-wise, you will not have to worry as Realme NARZO 70 Pro 5G packs MediaTek’s Dimensity 7050 5G mobile processor. Realme claims that its NARZO 70 Pro 5G has around 5,80,000 or 580K AnTuTu benchmarks score. The company provides guarantee that smartphone will have “four years of lag-free use”. It has Mali-G68 mid-range GPU for playing games and doing graphically demanding tasks. The smartphone offers RealmeUI 5.0 based on Android 14 so in future, you will get more advanced updates and features.
5. Cooling System: Talking about gaming, it comes with 3D VC Cooling System which will help the device cool down and prevent from overheating.
6. Battery: NARZO 70 Pro 5G has a regular 5,000mAh battery that will last throuhgout a day. However, considering the 120Hz refresh rate and AMOLED screen, the battery can drain a little faster. To tackle this problem, company also provided you a 67W SUPERVOOC charger. Using this charger, you can energize your NARZO smartphone from 1% to 50% within 19 minutes.
7. Unique Features: The Realme NARZO smartphone offers the users remote screen access with its ‘Creative Air Gesture’ feature. The company announced that the NARZO 70 Pro 5G will support over 10 unique gesture. It will include swiping the screen, going back and forth along with many other functionality. You can also use the Air Gestures in apps like YouTube, Instagram and more. Why this feature works? Well, normally while listening to audio music through TWS, we hardly need to see the screen and it will help everyone to reduce screen time. Watching screen for long hours is not good. Also, you get a ‘Rainwater Smart Touch’
8. Audio: While buying smartphone, this is the most overlooked feature. People run behind processor, camera and design. But this device… it has a great audio output. It supports Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio which means no music distortion or poor quality without proper separation. It has clear, loud and enthralling sound.

Realme NARZO is one of the rare devices that come with so many features and at impressive price range. It is an impressive smartphone but still there are some nitpicks. It does not have enough storage option and frankly no option to expand using MicroSD cards. If you have a habit of deleting your photos and videos regularly, then you can handle low memory. 256GB is not enough as it will run out quickly as you install games, apps, take pictures and shoot videos. Also, WhatsApp videos and photos will fill your space. In terms of specifications only, the device felt little short compared to Realme NARZO 60 Pro 5G as it had 100MP camera and up to 1TB internal storage at just Rs 29,999. However, since it is an old model, NARZO 70 Pro 5G can go up against Nothing Phone 2a which starts from Rs 23,999 for 128GB.
