The OPPO A60 5G is a new smartphone launched by a Chinese smartphone company in Vietnam. The price in Vietnam is 5,490,000 Vietnamese dong, roughly Rs 18,065 if converted as per April 28, 2024 rates. The new A60 offers considerable specifications for under Rs 20,000. The processor, the battery, and the camera setup are attractive specifications for the smartphone. The device comes with 5,000mAh battery with 45W SuperVOOC charging technology.
The OPPO A60 5G display, however, may not attract buyers as it only offers a 6.67-inch LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and 950 nits of maximum brightness. When compared to the display of the smartphone available in India under Rs 10,000, then it is a poor display. Usually, HD display smartphones with 720×1604 pixel resolution are available in India for under Rs 12,000 or a minimum of Rs 10,000. Besides, comparing the A60’s display with the recently launched Realme P series, you do not have the choice to skip this smartphone. The Realme P series and NARZO 70 series offer an AMOLED display under Rs 15,000.

The OPPO A60 5G smartphone, launched in Vietnam, offers a 7.68mm thin design. The new A60 from OPPO is available in Black and Purple. The smartphone weighs 186 grams and has an 89.9% screen-to-body ratio. The OPPO A60 mobile comes with a similar camera design as the OPPO A59 5G and the recently launched OPPO F25 Pro 5G.

Regarding camera performance, the new A60 from OPPO delivers good photographs with its 50-megapixel primary camera with f/1.8 aperture and 76-degree FOV. According to the official website, the device also offers an additional 2-megapixel camera with auto-focus support and without OIS. For taking selfies, doing video chats, and attending video conferences, the company has provided an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front; however, it does not come with autofocus, so it could be problematic while taking a selfie and adjusting the distances.

It can record a maximum of 1080p videos at 30fps and 720p slow-motion videos at 120fps. With a selfie camera, you can record up to 1080p videos at 30fps; however, the device comes with 720p at 30fps default setting with beauty mode.
OPPO A60 Processor and GPU
Talking about the processor, the new OPPO A60 offers an 8-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor. According to multiple websites, the Snapdragon 680 AnTuTu score ranges between 270K and 300K, which is very entry-level performance. On the other hand, the Realme NARZO 70 5G offers a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 5G processor, the Redmi Note 13 5G offers a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 processor, Lava AGNI 2 comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor, and so on. So, plenty of options available under Rs 20,000 would give you better processors.
OPPO A60 Price of variants and likely launch in India
OPPO has launched its new smartphone, which has 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB. The OPPO A60 8GB 128GB price is VND 5,490,000 (around Rs 18,065), and the OPPO A60 8GB 256GB price is VND 6,490,000 (Rs 21,356) as per rates on April 28, 2024. OPPO has yet to confirm the official OPPO A60 launch date in India; however looking at the specifications and recent launches in India, this model might not be introduced.
